Summary:
The Mobile Service Consultant position is responsible for:
Prepares, loads, drives and unloads van to deliver and pick up medical equipment
Delivery, pick up and service of KCI devices
Guidance and other instructions such as the care and use of KCI products to patients, nurses or other staff
Quality and infection control procedures in accordance to KCI USA policy
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
Prepares, loads, drives and unloads van to deliver and pick up medical equipment Prioritizes pickups, deliveries, service calls and other administrative activities to ensure proper adherence to completion timelines
Processes proper documentation associated with delivery and pick-ups Searches for equipment that has been misplaced or lost
Tracks product status in van and storage location to ensure sufficient product supply and variety to efficiently meet customer needs
Maintains and orders operating supplies as needed
Ensures all routine vehicle maintenance is completed and records maintained in accordance with the field service manual
Ensures vehicle is in safe operating condition and maintains vehicle interior and exterior appearance
Maintaining a dry storage location in accordance with the field service manual (if applicable)
Ensures product and devices are stored in accordance to the posted temperature guidelines.
Picking up and dropping off parcels at a freight company (i.e. UPS or Fed Ex)
Provides non-clinical technical support and in servicing KCI products as needed
Cleaning, disinfecting, processing and quality control of equipment using solvents and cleansers in accordance with infection control policy
Troubleshoots broken equipment and take necessary actions Supports customer satisfaction and quality service by communicating, servicing and developing relationships with the customer in a professional manner
Notifies Service Manager of any customer/patient issues or problems that may require follow up
Position Qualification Requirements:
Basic
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years experience in a service or operations related field
Experience with Microsoft Office applications

In addition to the basic qualifications listed above, the following other position qualifications are required:
Experience loading and unloading equipment
Experience providing non-clinical technical support
Experience with customer service
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision, being able to prioritize own time to manage routes
Ability to work extended work week, including some evenings, weekends and participation in on-call duties after the close of business day and/or weekend
Ability to travel by commercial air service to attend scheduled business and corporate functions when required
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all business dealings including co-workers
Essential Functions:
This position exists for the transport, delivery, pick up and service of company medical equipment requiring driving company vehicles, loading and unloading medical equipment from company vehicles, and lifting and moving up to 48 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the Mobile Service Consultant will be frequently standing, walking and sitting and must have the ability to use fine motor skills to operate equipment, machinery and/or company vehicles. In addition, the position requires the ability to comprehend work instructions and safety requirements to enter information into work logs and existing computer systems. Finally, the position requires the ability to work with solvents and cleaners to disinfect products.
