As a full time Assistant Night Manager, you will be one of the key leaders of our Resort overnight, driving the service culture and overseeing all aspects of the Guest Services operations.
Your day to day You will be required to work on a seven-day rotating roster on overnight shifts and will play a key role in ensuring the accurate auditing and balancing of the hotels accounts and the safety and security of all hotel guests and colleagues during the hours of 10.

You will be responsible for ensuring all guests feel welcome and comfortable whenever they have contact with the Front Office Department; responding to their needs and resolving any issues that arise confidently and independently, as well as supporting other colleagues across the Resort.
In partnership with the Night Manager, you will also being responsible for the overall operation of the business where senior leadership and the Resort are not present.
Your day to day will involve; Coaching and development of team around systems, service delivery, brand and standards Guest service and problem resolution Driving financial and soft targets and metrics Seeking, monitoring and assessing guest feedback and putting into place detailed action plans focussed on enhancing the guest journey Ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues Driving colleague engagement and brand pride across the Rooms Division Managing PM accounts ensuring efficient settlement and nightly reconciliations and any follow-up required.
Maintaining cashiers floats, reporting, auditing and balances.
Filing, reporting and other administration as required.
Monitoring guest billing.
Conducting inspections of front of house and back of house during shift, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Lobby, Food and Beverage Outlets, Public Areas, Car Parking.
Reviewing, monitoring and delivering early morning wake up calls.
What we need from you Ideally you will have previous experience in accounting or finance and will have at least 2-3 years experience in an upscale hotel, resort or equivalent environment as a Duty Manager, Front Office Supervisor or similar leadership capacity and are looking for your next challenge in your career.
You will have excellent attention to detail, an affinity for numbers and the ability to balance a variety of priorities to ensure all are completed each night on shift.
You'll have great communication skills, a passion for delivering excellent customer service and enjoy taking ownership for resolving guest issues on your shift.
To deliver on all aspects of the role you will also need to hold a valid Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol certification and a current open drivers licence and proficiency with Opera would be a plus.
You must also hold the appropriate work rights to work within Australia and be flexible to work overnights across the week, including on public holidays as required.
